Hannah has an extensive background working with adolescents, young adults, and their families, and is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. Her expertise includes in-depth knowledge of therapeutic programs as well as traditional schools and outpatient services. Having visited and evaluated hundreds of schools and treatment programs, she maintains up-to-date knowledge on clinical staff, leadership and ownership changes, student and client milieu shifts, and evolutions in services offered by schools and programs. Maintaining relationships with personnel is another important way Hannah stays current with program changes. She adds value to the process of choosing a residential program by understanding the complex constellation of factors that warrants attention for each individual with whom she works.

When working with families, Hannah educates them about the range of options that exists within a wide range of possibilities and engages with parents and clinical team members collaboratively to plan appropriate next steps. She works with families in developing plans to avoid needing a higher level of care, choosing a treatment program, and/or employing strategies for successful transitions following treatment. Her involvement in progress oversight throughout placements helps to optimize chances for successful outcomes. She has also developed considerable experience coaching teenagers and their families in setting goals, creating boundaries, and fostering healthy lifestyle choices when confronted with many of the current challenges that plague young people today.

In her free time, Hannah enjoys rock climbing, hiking, skiing, cooking, and other adventure-based activities.
